just keep believing

This has always been my favorite page in any prayer journal I’ve had.

This morning, I was writing down prayers that had been answered in August, and I decided to go look through the entire year to see what I’d been praying for.

As I was reading, I noticed that there were so many things that were not answered in the month I’d written them, but as I was writing out answered prayers for August, I saw things being answered from May, and February, and even years past.

There were many days, weeks, months, and years that I felt like the father in Mark 9:24 saying, “I believe, but help me overcome my unbelief.” There were many moments when it felt like deadlines were fast approaching, and answers to prayers still hadn’t been answered.

But this is an encouragement to anyone who needs to be reminded, God is faithful. He still answers prayers. He still makes ways out of no way. He still moves on the hearts of His people.

Just keep believing.

“if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself,” (‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬, ‭ESV‬‬)
