instablog: rest.

I walked outside this morning, and just stood there for a second. (That's not me in the corner, though! 😉)

I tend to have a "0 to 10" mentality when it comes to my work days. When I wake up to get ready for work, I am at a 10 all day until I lie down that night. (Obviously, I tend to wear myself out)

This morning, however, I stopped. I let the clock wind down, and I rested in His love. I didn't worry about whether or not I could control the day. I allowed myself to relinquish it all, and allowed His love to touch the places in which I'd been feeling weary.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬
